Quote of the day: 2011-11-02(Sacrifice)

Life is full of different kinds of people. I have tasted both sides of the story from being one who lived for himself and himself alone to a transformation where i live to sacrifice for other people so that i could see smiles on their faces. Not everyone lives through life knowing of such a transformation though i think it should be a basic human right. People in general love being selfish and it takes the heart of a titan to consider the welfare of someone else. I enjoy living to server other people because my life is not my own. Maybe its time you as well consider being selfless and helping out along the way. Lucky Dube said in one of his songs, “do good to the people on your way up the ladder cause you will meet them on your way down.”

How you get down the ladder is totally up to you. I think it will be one of two things that leads to that, you either have finished what you went up for or you fell. I always see the latter and wouldn’t it be nice to have someone grab you and stop you from hitting the floor.

“Sacrifice for others, sacrifice while you can still see for every man has times of blindness where he will need someone else to see for us. ” #Russell Mazonde

P.S: gosh where do i get this stuff 🙂

  1. Yes, this is very necessary. Your definition of sacrifice is, in fact, the Word of God’s definition of humility: Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Phil 2:3. Great post!

    1. the ladder is an interesting garage tool, you need someone to hold the bottom for you while you go up. There is this competition thing with people, to want to prove you are good on your own. truth be told i am not good on my own and that’s why i depend on my friends. That’s why i depend on God because i will fall of the ladder if i am alone.
